The elevation ranges from 7,200 feet along the South Platte River to 14,286 feet at the summit of Mount Lincoln near Alma. You will find South Park in the geographic center of Colorado, between the mountain ranges of Mosquito, Buffalo Peaks, the Park Range, the Front Range and Kenosha Mountains, and the Tarryall Mountains.

Sweeping vistas, alpine tundra, wetlands, rivers, sculpted peaks – this is Park County. It is rich in history and conveniently located. Come for a visit and you will want to stay forever.
