Fourmile Creek Ranch
Primarily 35 to 40 acre parcels, Fourmile Creek Ranch is one of the premier large parcel developments in the area. Filings 1 and 2 are west of Highway 285 and are accessed by County Roads 18 and 20, respectively. They offer mixed aspen, pine, spruce and fir as well as open meadows. Fourmile Creek flows through the subdivision and owners enjoy fishing and hiking on a common recreational easement along the creek. There is also a large pond that is stocked by the homeowners’ association. All lots are serviced by power and phone. National Forest is immediately to the west of filings 1 and 2 and there is good road access into the forest from either filing. Dues were $100 for the year 2002.
Filing 3 of Fourmile Creek Ranch is east of Highway 285 just south of the junction with Highway 9. These are also 35+ acres and are mostly open with a treed ridge top running through all the lots. Filing 3 is not a part of the homeowners’ association. The lots have easy access off of Highway 9 or 285 and all lots are serviced by power and phone. Domestic wells are allowed on these lots making them great for horses. Views to the west of the Mosquito Range can be breathtaking.
